Description of key information
The dynamic viscosity of castor oil, dehydrated is between 602 and 660 mPa s at a shear rate from 20 to 100 s-1 at 20 +/- 0.2°C. The dynamic viscosity was also determined to be 607 mPa s at 20 +/- 0.2°C and 164 mPa s at 40 +/- 0.1°C at a constant shear rate of 100 s-1. The test substance is considered to be a Newtonian fluid (Fieseler, 2012).
