First-aid measures
Eye contact: Immediately flush with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes. If redness, itching or a burning sensation develops, have eyes examined and treated by medical personnel.
Skin contact: Wash material off the skin with plenty of soap and water. If redness, itching or a burning sensation develops, get medical attention.
Swallowed: Provided the patient is conscious, wash out mouth with water. Vomiting should only be induced under the direction of a physician or a poison control center.
Inhaled: Remove victim to fresh air. If not breathing, give artificial respiration, preferably mouth-to-mouth. If breathing is labored, give oxygen. Consult medical personnel.
Fire-fighting measures
Extinguishing Media:
Use media such as water spray, carbon dioxide, dry chemical powder or appropriate foam.
Protective equipment:
Wear self-contained breathing apparatus and protective clothing to prevent contact with skin and eyes.
Accidental release measures
General Method: Isolate and post spill area. Wear protective clothing and personal protective equipment. Keep unprotected persons and animals out of the area. Keep material out of lakes, streams, ponds and sewer drains. Do not walk through spilled
material. Avoid breathing vapors and skin contact. Remove sources of ignition if combustible or flammable vapors may be present and ventilate area.
Large Spilled: Large spills should be collected in an appropriate container or absorb with an inert material (e.g., vermiculite, dry sand, earth), and place in a chemical waste container. Do not use combustible materials, such as saw dust. Do not flush to sewer! If a leak or spill has not ignited, use water spray to disperse the vapors, to protect personnel attempting to stop leak , and to flush spills away from exposures.
Clean & Neutralize: To clean and neutralize spill area, tools and equipment, wash with a suitable solution of caustic or soda ash. Follow this by washing with a strong soap and water solution. Absorb, as above, any excess liquid and add to the drums of waste already collected. Repeat if necessary.

Storage: Store away from incompatible substances. Keep tightly closed and store in a cool dry place. Do not store or consume food, drink or tobacco in areas where they may become contaminated with this material.

Exposure controls / personal protection
This substance is handled under Strictly Controlled Conditions in accordance with REACH regulation Article 17(3) for on-site isolated intermediates and, in case the substance is transported to other sites for further processing, the substance should be handled at these sites under the Strictly Controlled Conditions as specified in REACH regulation Article 18(4). Site documentation to support safe handling arrangements including the selection of engineering, administrative and personal protective equipment controls in accordance with risk-based management systems is available.
The substance shall be rigorously contained by technical means during its whole lifecycle including manufacture, purification, cleaning and maintenance of equipment, sampling, analysis, loading and unloading of equipment or vessels, waste disposal or purification and storage. Procedural and control technologies shall be used that minimise emission and any resulting exposure. In cases of accident and where waste is generated, procedural and/or control technologies shall be used to minimise emissions and the resulting exposure during purification or cleaning and maintenance procedures.
Organisational measures: Only properly trained and authorised personnel shall handle the substance. In the case of cleaning and maintenance works, special procedures such as purging and washing shall be applied before the system is opened and entered.
Occupational exposure limits: No occupational exposure limit has been set for this substance.
Eye/face protection: Use approved safety goggles or glasses. Use equipment for eye protection tested and approved under appropriate government standards such as NIOSH (US) or EN 166(EU).
Hand protection: Handle with gloves. Gloves must be inspected prior to use. Use proper glove removal technique (without touching glove's outer surface) to avoid skin contact with this product.
Dispose of contaminated gloves after use in accordance with applicable laws and good laboratory practices. Wash and dry hands. The selected protective gloves have to satisfy the specifications of EU Directive 89/686/EEC and the standard EN 374 derived from it.
Other skin and body protection: Protective overalls.
Stability and reactivity
Stability: The product is stable.
Possibility of hazardous reactions: Under normal conditions of storage and use, hazardous reactions will not occur.
Conditions to avoid: In the case of dusty organic products the possibility of a dust explosion should always be considered.
Materials To Avoid: Strong oxidising substances.
Hazardous decomposition products: Thermal decomposition or combustion may liberate oxides of carbon and nitrogen.
Disposal considerations
General information: Waste is classified as hazardous waste. Disposal to licensed waste disposal site in accordance with national and local authority regulations.
Waste treatment methods: Incineration using appropriate licensed facilities.
