Guidance on Safe Use
Administrative data
First-aid measures
- Following inhalation: Bring affected persons into the fresh air.
- Following skin contact: Wash off with plenty of water.
- Following eye contact: Remove any contact lenses. Immediately wash affected eyes for at least 15 minutes under running water with eyelids held open. Consult an eye specialist.
- Following ingestion: Encourage victim to sip water (diluting effect). Induce vomiting. Consult doctor if feeling unwell.
Fire-fighting measures
- Suitable extinguishing media: water spray, extinguishing powder, CO2
- Unsuitable extinguishing media: high volume water jet
- Special hazards arising from the substance or mixture: Flammable; Formation of dangerous gases possible in case of fire. In case of fire sulphur oxide can occur.
- Advice for fire fighter: Special protective equipment: Staying in hazard area only with self-contained breathing apparatus. Do not allow fire water to penetrate into surface or ground water.
Accidental release measures
- Personal precautions: Avoid generation of dusts. Do not inhale dust. Provide for fresh air in closed rooms.
- Environmental precautions: Prevent product and large quantities of contaminated washing water from invading surface waters and soil.
- Methods and material for containment and cleaning up: Pick up mechanically and send for disposal. Clean contaminated floors and objects thoroughly with water and detergents, observing environmental regulations.
Handling and storage
- Precautions for safe handling: Avoid backing up and supply fresh air.
- Conditions for safe storage, including any incompatibilities: Store cool, dry and tightly closed.

Exposure controls / personal protection
-Hand protection:
In full contact / splash contact:
Glove material: nitrile rubber
Layer thickness: 0,11 mm
Breakthrough time: > 480 Min.
The protective gloves to be used must comply with the specifications of EC directive 89/686/EEC the resultant standard EN 374. By removing the gloves avoid contact with the product. Wash hands and face after work.
-Body protection: Protective clothing should be selected specifically for the working place, depending on concentration and quantity of the hazardous substances handled. The resistance of the protective clothing to chemicals should be ascertained with respective supplier. Change any contaminated clothing and dispose of it safely.
-Eye protection: necessary (Safety goggles with side guard)
-Respiratory protection: Respiratory protection not required. When dusts are generated a dust mask of type FFP1 is used.
Stability and reactivity
1. Reactivity: No data available.
2. Chemical stability: The product is chemically stable when stored at room temperature. Further information: hygroscopic.
3. Possibility of hazardous reactions: There are expected no hazardous reactions for intended use.
4. Conditions to avoid: No data available.
5. Incompatible materials: Acids and oxidizing agents.
6. Hazardous decomposition products: Does not compose at intended use.
Disposal considerations
Product
Chemicals must be disposed of in compliance with the respective national regulations.
Package
Product packaging must be disposed of in compliance with the country-specific regulations or must be passed to a packaging return system.
