Guidance on Safe Use
Administrative data
First-aid measures
First-aid measures general: Remove person to uncontaminated area. Take off immediately all contaminated clothing.
First-aid measures after inhalation: Allow affected person to breathe fresh air. If experiencing respiratory symptoms: Call a poison center or a doctor.
First-aid measures after skin contact: IF ON SKIN (or hair): Take off immediately all contaminated clothing. Rinse skin with water/shower. Get medical advice/attention if you feel unwell.
First-aid measures after eye contact: In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice.
First-aid measures after ingestion: Rinse mouth. Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. Call a physician immediately. Do not induce vomiting because of corrosive effects.
Fire-fighting measures
Extinguishing media
Suitable extinguishing media : Carbon dioxide (CO2), dry chemical powder, foam.
Unsuitable extinguishing media : Do not use water jet.
Special hazards arising from the substance or mixture
Fire hazard : Under fire conditions, hazardous fumes will be present.
Hazardous decomposition products in case of fire : Carbon oxides (CO, CO2). Nitrogen oxides
Advice for firefighters
Precautionary measures fire : Eliminate all ignition sources if safe to do so. Evacuate the danger area. Do not breathe
fumes from fires or vapours from decomposition.
Protection during firefighting : Do not enter fire area without proper protective equipment, including respiratory protection.
Self-contained breathing apparatus.
Other information : Large amounts of the product should not be allowed to enter drains or water courses or be
deposited where it can affect ground or surface waters.
Accidental release measures
Personal precautions, protective equipment and emergency procedures
General measures: Avoid creating or spreading dust. Ventilate spillage area.
For non-emergency personnel
Emergency procedures: Evacuate area.
For emergency responders
No additional information available
Environmental precautions
Do not discharge into drains or the environment.
Methods and material for containment and cleaning up
For containment: Contain the spilled material by bunding.
Methods for cleaning up: Sweep up or vacuum up the product. Wash away remainder with plenty of water.
Other information: Use closed containers for waste packaging and confinement.
Handling and storage
Precautions for safe handling:
Handle carefully. Avoid all eye and skin contact and do not breathe vapour and mist.
Conditions for safe storage, including any incompatibilities
Technical measures: Keep in a cool, well-ventilated place away from moisture.
No specific end-use(s).

Exposure controls / personal protection
Does not contain substances above concentration limits fixing an occupational exposure limit.
Appropriate engineering controls : Technical measures and the application of suitable work processes have priority over personal protection equipment. Reduce exposure to fume by keeping operating temperatures as low as possible taking into account occupational exposure limits and safe handling temperatures. Where practicable handle within an enclosed process. Alternatively local exhaust ventilation should be considered.
Eye/face protection : goggles
Skin protection : When handling with chemical substances, protective clothing with CE-labels including the four control digits must be worn. Required properties : flame-retardant , antistatic. Draw up and observe skin protection programme.
Hand protection : Tested protective gloves must be worn . The quality of the protective gloves resistant to chemicals must be chosen as a function of the specific working place concentration and quantity of hazardous substances. For special purposes, it is recommended to check the resistance to chemicals of the protective gloves mentioned above together with the supplier of these gloves.
Respiratory protection : If technical exhaust or ventilation measures are not possible or insufficient, respiratory protection must be worn. Suitable respiratory protection apparatus : Filtering device (full mask or mouthpiece) with filter: ABEK-P3 , Self-contained respirator (breathing apparatus) (DIN EN 133)
Stability and reactivity

Disposal considerations
Waste treatment methods: The allocation of waste identity numbers/waste descriptions must be carried out according to the EEC, specific to the industry and process. Dispose of waste according to applicable legislation.
Product/Packaging disposal / Waste treatment options / Appropriate disposal / Package : Non-contaminated packages may be recycled. Contaminated packages must be completely emptied and can be re-used following proper cleaning. Handle contaminated packages in the same way as the substance itself.
