Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

The vapour pressure of the solid substance was extrapolated to be 3.26 x 10-7 Pa at 25°C.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Vapour pressure:
0 Pa
at the temperature of:
25 °C

Additional information

The vapour pressure of the solid substance has been measured at 83-96°C.

- This temperature range does not go above the melting point: vapour pressure values are not applicable to the liquid substance.

- As demonstrated in an Annex to the CSR, comparison with QSAR results enable to demonstrate that the measures most likely represent residual raw materials and not the other, much less volatile, UVCB components.

An extrapolation equation has been derived from the experimental results: Log10 Vp= -6161.5/(T in °K) + 14.179

It enables to calculate the following three key values for CSA:

- 3.26E-7 Pa at 25°C (extrapolation to low temperatures)

- 3.19E-6 Pa at 40°C (extrapolation to low temperatures)

- 9.45E-4 Pa at 85°C (interpolation within experimental range)
