Description of key information

Additional information

The flammability of liquids is determined on basis of their flashpoint (in combination with their boiling point).

As the Flash Point of the substance is 107°C, the substance does not meet the definition of "Flammable liquid".

Justification for classification or non-classification

The substance is not considered to be classified for flammability according to Directive 67/548/EEC, as amended by Directive 2001/59/EEC, Annex VI, 2.2.5.

According to Regulation (EC) 1272/2008, Annex I, Part 2, 2.6.1, liquids with a flash point of more than 60 °C are regarded as non-flammable liquids.
