Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

Acute Daphnia study performed, but no supporting analysis. However, substance known to be stable in water (supplied in solution).

Additional information

The 48 hour ECso value of Lakeland AMA to Daphnia magna was estimated as 97.7 mg/l as supplied (29 mg/l actives). The highest no-observed effect concentration (HNEC) after 48 hours was 10 mg/l (3 mg/l actives). The lowest test concentration which immobilised all twenty Daphnia (LOEC) within 48 hours was 400 mg/l (120 mg/l actives).

Note that in a subsequent Daphnia reproduction study (2013), the NOAEC was 10 mg/l actives (the highest concentration tested), showing a very narrow threshold between acute and chronic toxicity. Supporting analysis confirmed stability of the substance in the test system.
