Additional information

The PNECs are difficult to assess due to the low water solubility of 0.048 mg/l.

It is very likely that the effects reported in the 1996 Daphnia immobilisation study were due to physical effects as the NOAEC was greater than the limit of solubility.

Very low exposure to the environment is expected from the manufacture and use of this substance and PEC figures determined to be at least 100 times lower than the limit of solubility.

Conclusion on classification

Classification is based on the limit of solubility - no effects observed.
