First-aid measures
Prepararion (50% in toluene):
Inhalation Move to fresh air, rest, half upright position,
loosen clothing. Oxygen or artificialrespiration if there is
difficulty in breathing. Remove contaminated clothing.
Always seek medical attention.
Emergency measure - Eyes: Substance: not applicable
preparation (50% in toluene)
Eye Rinse immediately and as long as possible with plenty of
water. Eyelids should be held away from the eyeball to
ensure thorough rinsing.
Emergency measure - Skin: Substance: not applicable
Preparation(50% in toluene):
Skin: Remove contaminated clothing. Wash immediately with
soap and water. Launder
clothes before reuse.
Emergency measure - Ingestion: Substance: not applicable
Preparation: 50% in toluene
Do NOT induce vomiting! Rinse mouth. Always seek medical
attention.
Fire-fighting measures
sand, water, foam.
Unsuitable extinguishing media none known.
Product arising from burning: CO2, water, various oxidation products of PAH
Product determined by test: N
Protective equipment: Wear suitable protective clothing. Wear self contained
breathing apparatus.
Accidental release measures
preparation (50% in toluene):
Eliminate all sources of ignition, and do not generate
flames or sparks. Take
precautionary measures against static discharges. Collect as
much as possible in a clean container for (preferable)
reuse or disposal. Cover the remainder with inert absorbent
(e.g. vermiculite) for disposal.
Handling and storage
preparation (50% in toluene):
When using do not eat, drink or smoke. Do not pipet by
mouth. Do not breathe fumes/vapour. Handle in well
ventilated areas. Eliminate all sources of ignition, and do
not generate flames or sparks. Take precautionary measures
against static discharges.Apply earthing when transferring
from one container to another.
Storage: Substance:
preparation (50% in toluene)
Store in accordance with local/national regulations. Keep
away from food, drink and animal feedingstuffs. Keep
container upright to prevent leakage.
Packaging of the substance and or preparation: Preparation:
