Emergency measure - Eyes: Flush with water. Seek medical attention.
Emergency measure - Skin: Flush with water for 15 minutes. Seek medical attention.
Emergency measure - Ingestion: Seek immediate medical attention.
Fire-fighting measures
Recommended extinguishing agent: Carbon dioxide, foam, dry powder or fine water spray, may be
used.
Product arising from burning: Products of combustion may contain oxides of carbon and
iodine products, together with some soot.
Product determined by test: N
Protective equipment: Respiratory: a respirator with an organic vapour/dust
cartridge must be worn if the product is used in
circumstances where an aerosol or mist may be generated,
such as during spraying or similar activities.
Hand: chemical protective gloves or gauntlets should be worn
and removed correctly to avoid skin contamination.
Eye: chemical splash goggles should be worn.
Skin: wear impervious overalls when handling this product.
Industrial hygiene: remove contaminated clothing. Wash after
handling, especially before eating, drinking or smoking.
Accidental release measures
Emergency measures in case of spillage: Isolate spillage. Gloves, goggles, dust mask and full
personal protective equipment should be worn. Absorb spill
with suitable absorbent material eg sand. Sweep up spill or
use industrial vaccuum fitted with suitable dust filtration
system. Transfer to suitably labelled containers and
dispose of in accordance with local regulations.
