Conclusions:
The vapour pressure for the test item was determined to be 0.31 mPa at 20ºC and 0.34 mPa at 40ºC.
Executive summary:

The present study was conducted to determine the Vapour pressure of test item by gas saturation method as per OECD guideline for the testing of chemicals, No. 104. Specificity, LOD, LOQ, linearity, accuracy, precision and stability was analysed during this validation of the analytical method and results are within the specified limits. The vapour pressure study was performed by conducting preliminary test and definitive test. During the preliminary test, the test item was exposed to three different flow rates at 20 mL/min, 40 mL/min and 60 mL/min at 40°C to optimize the suitable flow rate. Optimum flow rate selected during preliminary test was used for definitive test and the definitive was conducted at two different temperatures such as 20°C and 40°C. The vapour pressure for the test item was determined to be 0.31 mPa at 20ºC and 0.34 mPa at 40ºC.

Description of key information

The vapour pressure was tested according to the OECD 104 and it was determined to be 3.1E-4 Pa at 20 °C.

Key value for chemical safety assessment
