First-aid measures

General advice: Get medical advice/attention if you feel unwell.
If inhaled: In case of accident by inhalation: remove casualty to fresh air and keep at rest.
Get medical advice/attention if you feel unwell.
In case of skin contact: Gently wash with plenty of soap and water.
In case of eye contact: In case of contact with eyes flush immediately with plenty of flowing water for
10 to 15 minutes holding eyelids apart and consult an ophthalmologist.
If eye irritation persists: Get medical advice/attention.
If swallowed: Rinse mouth thoroughly with water. Get medical advice/attention if you feel unwell.
Immediate medical attention: Treat symptomatically.

Fire-fighting measures

Suitable extinguishing media: Extinguishing powder, water spray jet
In case of major fire and large quantities: Water spray jet, alcohol resistant foam
Extinguishing media which must not be used for safety reasons: Full water jet, Carbon dioxide
Special exposure hazards arising from the substance or preparation itself, its combustion products,
or released gases: Dust can combine with air to form an explosive mixture.
In case of fire may be liberated:
Nitrogen oxides (NOx)
Carbon monoxide.
Carbon dioxide (CO2)
Co-ordinate fire-fighting measures to the fire surroundings.
Special protective equipment for firefighting: In case of fire: Wear self-contained breathing apparatus. Use personal protection equipment.
Additional information on firefighting: Collect contaminated fire extinguishing water separately. Do not allow entering drains or surface water. Dispose of waste according to applicable legislation.

Accidental release measures

Personal precautions: Wear breathing apparatus if exposed to vapours/dusts/aerosols. Wear suitable protective clothing. Remove all sources of ignition.
Environmental precautions: Do not allow to enter into surface water or drains. If the product contaminates lakes, rivers or sewages, inform competent authorities in accordance with local regulations.
Methods for cleaning up: Wet clean or vacuum up solids. Collect in closed and suitable containers for disposal. Clean contaminated objects and areas thoroughly observing environmental regulations.

Handling and storage

Advice on safe handling: Wear suitable protective clothing. If the formation of dust is beyond the occupational exposure limit values, approved and suitable respiratory protection must be used.
Wear eye glasses with side protection according to EN 166. Take precautionary measures against static discharges. When using do not eat or drink.
Storage space and container requirements: Keep only in the original container.
Store in a well-ventilated place. Keep container tightly closed.

Exposure controls / personal protection

Respiratory protection: Suitable respiratory protection for lower concentrations or short-term effect:
Particle filter with medium efficiency for solid and liquid particles (e.g. EN 143 or 149, Type P2 or FFP2)
Hand protection: By short-term hand contact: Hand protection is not required
By long-term hand contact: Wear suitable gloves.
Suitable material: nitrile rubber (0.4mm),chloroprene rubber (0.5mm), polyvinylchloride (0.7mm), among others.
Eye protection: Wear eye glasses with side protection according to EN 166.
General protective and hygiene measures: Information-training of the workers and their staff and line managers focused on careful hygiene behaviour. In order to prevent contamination while handling, closed working clothes and working gloves should be used. When using do not eat, drink or smoke.

Stability and reactivity

Reactivity: No hazardous reaction when handled and stored according to provisions.
Chemical stability: Stable when applying the recommended regulations for storage and handling.
Possibility of hazardous reactions: No hazardous reactions when stored and handled according to
instructions. Dust can form an explosive mixture with air.
Conditions to avoid: Avoid generation of dust.
Incompatible materials: Materials to avoid: No incompatible materials known..
Hazardous decomposition products: No hazardous decomposition products if stored and handled as
prescribed/indicated.

Disposal considerations

Waste treatment methods: Disposal considerations: Must be dumped or incinerated in accordance with local regulations. Check for possible recycling. Disposal via wastewater is not recommended.
Waste Code: 08 01 11* waste paint and varnish containing organic solvents or other dangerous
Substances
Uncleaned empty packaging: Contaminated packages must be completely emptied and can be re-used following proper cleaning. Handle contaminated packages in the same way as the substance itself. Packing which cannot be properly cleaned must be disposed of.
