Results of the Modified Addition Method

Solvent

Mean measured solubility [g/L]

Methanol

miscible

Aceton

n-Octanol

miscible

The test substance was miscible in all ratio with the above mentioned solvents.

Results of the Shake Flask method

The water solubility increased with the time of equilibration. Therefore only the measured results from flask 2 and flask 3 were used to calculate the n-hexane solubility of the test substance.

The n-hexane solubility of the test item as mean of the measured values of flasks two and three was:

n-hexane solubility (20 °C) = 177.1 ± 1.3 mg/L

Conclusions:
The n-hexane solubility of the test item as mean of the measured values of flasks two and three was: n-hexane solubility (20 °C) = 177.1 ± 1.3 mg/L. In methanol, n-octanol and acetone, the test item is completely miscible in all ratio.
Executive summary:

The solubility of the test item in organic solvents at 20 °C was determined following the EEC-guideline 92/69/EWG A.6, Flask-method. The following solubilities were determined:

- in methanol - miscible

- in acetone - miscible

- in n-octanol - miscible

- in n-hexane - 0.117 g/L = 177.1 mg/L.
