Results and discussion

Relative self-ignition temperature (solids)
Key result
Remarks on result:
no self ignition observed under the test conditions
Remarks:
No exothermic effect of the test substance was observed. It demonstrated that the test substance is “not a self-heating substance”. According to the guideline, no further testing was required. After the experiment, the consistency of the sample was unchanged, i.e. no reaction and/or decomposition of the test substance was observed.

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Conclusions:
The self-heating temperature of 1574 CETONA was investigated by Test 1 of the Modified Bowes-Cameron Cage test.
Based on the results obtained, the test substance is considered “not a self-heating substance”.
