Endpoint:
oxidising liquids
Data waiving:
study scientifically not necessary / other information available
Justification for data waiving:
the study does not need to be conducted because there are no chemical groups present in the molecule which are associated with oxidising properties and hence, the classification procedure does not need to be applied

Description of key information

From the assessment of the chemical structure it was established that the test item, would not have oxidising properties.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Oxidising properties:
non oxidising

Additional information

Justification for classification or non-classification

According to Guidance on the Application of the CLP Criteria Annex I 2.13.4.1.1. Screening procedures and waiving of testing for organic substances or mixtures the classification procedure for this hazard class need not to be applied if:

- the substance or mixture does not contain oxygen, fluorine or chlorine; or

- the substance or mixture contains oxygen, fluorine or chlorine and these elements are chemically bonded only to carbon or hydrogen

From the assessment of the chemical structure it was established that the test item, would not have oxidising properties.
