Conclusion on classification

No classification for environmental properties of substance is deemed necessary.

The lowest long term toxicity data was obtained for fish, with a NOAEC value of 3 mg/L, therefore above the 1 mg/L trigger value. Most of the long term toxicity values were above 10 mg/L. Moreover, the log Pow value for the substance is around 2, indicating no potential for bioaccumulation according to EU criteria.

Environmental labelling for the substance was discussed in the EU Working group. In the Annex I to 29th ATP of Directive 67/548/EEC the resulting decision was that the substance should not be classified as "dangerous for the environment".
