The oxidising properties of Reaction mass of tetrasodium phosphonoethane-1,2-dicarboxylate and hexasodium-phosphonobutane-1,2,3,4-tetracarboxylate have been determined according the EU method A.17 of the Commission directive 84/449/EEC and the GLP.

In the preliminary test the sample cone ignited but failed to support combustion. In the main study, the pile did not ignited or ignited but failed to support combustion.
