Results and discussion
Results of examinations
- Details on results:
- One hour and half after feeding, a light glassy slime returned, very viscous with an odour of 1,3-dichlorobut-2-ene. During the first week a kilo of weight was lost and at the end of the same week the hair began to fall in considerable amounts. The dog was fed 2.5 cc of 1,3-dichlorobut-2-ene in the first 20 days. The maximum loss of hair was noticed than. The gastric juices after a month feeding had a high free acid amount and a total of acidity of 106.4 which indicates an inflammation of the mucous membrane of the stomach. The tongue at the time was very dry. After a month the test was terminated, the fur began to grow fast, in good quantity and it was of glossy appearance. After 2 months from the beginning of the test the dog weighed 10.5 K.
