Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

One key study is available to assess the acute toxicity of the substance to zebra fish (Brachydanio rerio). This study was performed similar to OECD Guideline 203 with GLP statement. Based on the results of the preliminary test, the definitive test was conducted with the test concentrations of 5.0, 7.5, 11.2, 16.7 and 25.0 mg/L (nominal concentrations). Concurrent water control group was performed in parallel. The study was performed with a semi-static water renewal system.

The 96h LC50 was calculated as 13.1 mg/L (nominal concentration), and the 95% confidence limit was 11.1 mg/L - 15.6 mg/L. The highest concentration without observed effect was 5.0 mg/L.

All validity criteria of the OECD Guideline 203 were not fulfilled as no information is available on the analytical measurements. Based on the analytical measurements of the other aquatic studies (algae and aquatic invertebrates) and that this study was conducted in a semi-static system, there must be evidence that the concentration of the substance has been satisfactorily maintained. Therefore, this study is considered reliable with restrictions.
