Applicant's summary and conclusion

Conclusions:
Under the test conditions, the vapour pressure of test substance was found to be <=2.57 × 10-5 Pa, i.e. <= 1.93 × 10-7 mm Hg at 20°C.
Executive summary:

A study was conducted to determine the vapour pressure of 'oils, vegetable, deodorizer distillates' according to the isothermal thermogravimetric effusion method (OECD Guideline 104 and EU method A.4).

9.92 or 10.5 mg of the test substance was applied on glass plates and placed in the thermogravimetric analyzer. The weight loss of the test substance was measured continuously as a function of time from 60 - 75°C and 90 - 200°C. Benzo(ghi)perylene, chrysene, hexachlorobenzene, naphthalene and water were used as reference substances for validation.

Under the test conditions, the vapour pressure of test substance was found to be <=2.57 × 10-5 Pa, i.e. <= 1.93 × 10-7 mm Hg at 20°C.
