Emergency measure - Eyes: Wash with water.
Emergency measure - Skin: Wash with water.
Emergency measure - Ingestion: Seek medical attention.
Fire-fighting measures
Recommended extinguishing agent: Fires will produce mainly carbon oxides and soot together
with some nitrogen oxides and, possibly, copper oxide.
Water, carbon dioxide, foam and dry powder are suitable
extinguishers.
Accidental release measures
Emergency measures in case of spillage: Powder: Sweep up and dispose of at an approved incinerator
or controlled tip Solution: Soak up using absorbent
material and incinerate in an approved installation or dump
at a controlled site.
Handling and storage
Handling: Minimise exposure by use of standard occupational hygiene
procedures and good housekeeping: eye/face protection, head
covering and gloves should be used. Weighings to be
performed in an enclosed area and on low level scales for
ease of handling.
Storage: No special precautions.
