Description of key information

Not readily and not inherently biodegradable

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

One guideline study is available investigating the inherent biodegradability of the substance. The biodegradation of the substance was tested in a modified MITI Test (II) according to OECD guideline 302C using domestic activated sludge as inoculum. At test termination after 28 days the substance was degraded by 0 - 10 % (RCC Ltd. 2005). Thus, the substance is neither readily nor inherently biodegradable according to OECD criteria.
