The substance does not need to be classified under the Dangerous Substances Directive (67/548/EEC) as Dangerous for the Environment (N) with the risk phrases Toxic to aquatic organisms (R51) and May-cause long-term adverse effects in the aquatic environment (R53) because the substance is not readily biodegradable and there is an experimentally determined BCF of <100. On this basis, no classification is required under Classification, Labelling and Packaging (CLP) EC Regulation 1272/2008.
