Additional information

The toxicity of 1 -Ethylpiperidine (CAS 766 -09 -6) to the test organism Desmodesmus subspicatus tested according to the OECD Guideline 201 (Alga Growth Inhibition Test). The obtained effect concentrations [ErC10 (72 hr) = 8.9 mg/L; ErC50 (72 hr) =24.6 mg/L] were calculated using probit analyses. The NOEC [NOEC (72 hr) = 1.9 mg/L] was determined by a multisample comparison (according to DUNNETT 1955, 1964)[BASF AG; study no.: 2006/0006/09].

Based on the effect value ErC50 (72 hr) = 24.6 mg/L the test substance is acutely harmful to aquatic organisms.
