Validity Criteria
The study was performed based on OECD Guideline 105 for Testing of Chemicals (1995) and Council Regulation (EC) No. 440/2008, Method A.6. The validity criteria were fulfilled:
- The concentration measured in at least the last two test vessels differed for no more than 15 %.
- No tendency of increasing values from sampling intervals of 24 – 72 h was measured.
- Temperatures were kept constant within ± 0.1 °C for definitive testing, during the preincubation phase the temperature was slightly below the given range at 00:39 (34.80 °C) and 10:39 (34.83 °C) on 2011-12-18 corresponding to a total span of 8 % of the shortest preincubation time of 24 h. This deviation does not have an effect on test results

Preliminary Test
In the preliminary testing the solubility of the test item was determined to be between 50 and 100 mg/L.

Main Test
All samples were checked negative for colloidal material using the Tyndall effect.

Conclusions:
According to Regulation EC 440/2008 Method A.6 and OECD 105 the solubility of the test item was determined to be 106.1 mg/L (pH 6.87) at 30 ± 0.1 °C and 123.2 mg/L (pH 6.77) at 20 ± 0.1 °C.
The mean solubility was determined to be 114.7 mg/L. A significant (> 3%/°C) temperature dependence of the solubility of the test item was not observed. The substance is considered to be moderately soluble.
