Applicant's summary and conclusion

Conclusions:
The surface tension of the test item was determined to be 27.6 mN/m at 20°C. Based on this result, acylglycinate GCK-12H -T (dry matter) has surface active properties according to European Commission Regulation (EC) No. 440/2008 and OECD 115 (1995).
Executive summary:

The surface tension of the test item was investigated in a study conducted according to EU Method A.5 (Surface Tension)OECD Guideline 115 (Surface Tension of Aqueous Solutions) using the ring method. A solution of the test substance with a concentration of 1 g/L was prepared and adapted to the test temperature of 20°C. The measurements were repeated six times until a constant surface tension was obtained. The surface tension of an aqueous solution of the test item was determined to be 27.6 mN/m at 20°C (mean value of 6 measurements). Based on this result, acylglycinate GCK-12H -T (dry matter) has surface-active properties according to European Commission Regulation (EC) No. 440/2008 and OECD 115 (1995).
