First-aid measures

Emergency measure - Inhalation: Remove from exposure area to fresh air immediately give

artificial respiration, if necessary.

Get medical attention immediately.

Emergency measure - Eyes: Rinse with plenty of water. If irritation occurs, seek

medical advice.

Emergency measure - Skin: Remove contaminated clothing and shoes immediately.

Wash with soap or mild detergent and large amount of water.

Fire-fighting measures

Recommended extinguishing agent: Water, dry powder, foam, carbon dioxide.

Product arising from burning: Water, dry powder, foam, carbon dioxide.

Product determined by test: N

Protective equipment: Wear self-contained breathing apparatus.

Accidental release measures

Emergency measures in case of spillage: Take up the spillage mechanically, if necessary, dam in or

take up beforehand using absorbent material, e.g. kieselgur,

sawdust or sand. Fill material that is taken up into

closable, properly labelled containers. Disposal according

to the local official regulations, e.g. by incineration.

The precautionary measures recommended under 2.3.10 must be

taken.

Do not allow to enter drains or aquatic environments.

Handling and storage

Handling: All working methods must always be designed so that exposure

by skin contact with the substance is minimized. As far as

possible, closed or at least splashproof equipment should be

used during filling and metered feeding as well as during

sampling. To avoid skin contact, tested protective gloves

(e.g. Latex Exam Gloves) and, if applicable, suitable pro-

tective clothing (e.g. Salisbury Arc Flash protective

clothing kits) must be worn. Adequate washing facilities

should be available in the immediate vicinity of the work

area. After skin contact, the affected parts of the skin

should be cleaned thoroughly using (e.g. BestFoam pH skin

neutual). Skin-protection and skin-care measures are re-

commended.

Take precautionary measures against static charges.

Storage: For the storage the original packaging drums or other
