Data platform availability banner - registered substances factsheets
Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.
The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Administrative data
First-aid measures
Emergency measure - Inhalation: If symptomatic, move to fresh air. Get medical attention if
symptoms persist.
Emergency measure - Eyes: In case of contact with eyes, flush immediately with plenty
of water and seek medical attention. Get medical attention
if symptoms occur.
Emergency measure - Skin: Immediately remove contaminated clothing and shoes and wash
skin with soap and plenty of water. Get medical attention
if symptoms occur.
Emergency measure - Ingestion: Seek immediate medical attention.
Fire-fighting measures
Recommended extinguishing agent: Use appropriate medium for adjacent fire. Hazchem code 2Z
Powdered material may form explosive dust-air mixtures.
Elevated temperatures can cause decomposition.
Product arising from burning: Fire or excessive heat may produce hazardous decomposition
products such as oxides of nitrogen and oxides of sulphur.
Product determined by test: N
Protective equipment: Hazchem code 2Z.
Accidental release measures
Emergency measures in case of spillage: Collect up and put in a suitable container. Avoid
generation of dust. Clean surface thoroughly to remove
residual contamination.
Handling and storage
Handling: Avoid prolonged or repeated breathing of dust. Avoid
contact with eyes and prolonged or repeated contact with
skin. Use adequate ventilation. Wash thoroughly after
handling.
Storage: Cool conditions (5-30 degrees C). Keep container closed.
Keep away from heat. Use only in well ventilated areas.
Keep away from sources of ignition. Keep from contact with
oxidizing materials.
Packaging of the substance and or preparation: Sealed, poly-lined fiber containers.

Stability and reactivity
Danger other than fire: High temperatures (>180 degrees C) will cause decomposition.
Chemical reaction with water: None reported.
Dust explosion: Powdered material may form explosive dust-air mixtures.
Minimize dust generation and accumulation.
Dust explosion determined by test: N
Disposal considerations
Industry - Possibility of recovery/recycling: It is not practical to recover or recycle the substance.
Industry - Possibility of neutralisation: Not known.
Industry - Possibility of destruction: controlled discharge: Not recommended.
Industry - Possibility of destruction - incineration: A temperature of 1000 degrees C is expected to be sufficient
to destroy the substance. Waste gas scrubbing to remove
oxides of nitrogen and oxides of sulfur should be used.
Industry - Possibility of destruction - water purification: The SIMPLETREAT model predicted the percent removal from
wastewater treatment plant to be 0%, based on the vapour
pressure <2.9 x 10E-5 Pa and a Log Kow of 0.82.
Additionally, the new substance does not biodegrade.
Public at large - Possibility of recovery/recycling: Not applicable the substance will not enter the public
domain.
