Danger other than fire: The substance slowly hydrolyses in water to release acetic

acid.

Industry - Possibility of recovery/recycling: Recovery for reuse is not possible.

Industry - Possibility of neutralisation: Acetic acid released during prolonged hydrolysis can be

neutralised using dilute alkali.

Industry - Possibility of destruction: controlled discharge: Disposal at a licensed site is possible.
