Additional information

The substance is not readily biodegradable. Hydrolysis of the substance cannot be directly measured by testing due to the high water insolubility but, based on the chemical structure, the substance is likely to bbe hydrolytically stable. On the basis of these factors, the substance is likely to be highly persistent in the aquatic and terrestrial environment.

Based on the available data, the substance is not toxic to any of the three tropic freshwater species tested. It is considered unlikely that the substance would be toxic to marine species.

The substance has a high partition coefficient and is predicted to have a low BCF. It is therefore considered that the substance would not have the potential to bioaccumulate in the environment.

Due to the above factors exposure of the substance to the environment is predicted to result in a low tendency to air or water, instead the substance is expected to bind tightly and persist in soil and sediment without further distribution to soil pore water.

Conclusion on classification

Based on the data avaialble the substance does not trigger any of the requirements for environmental classification. The substance is therefore not classified.
