Decreased conception rate and effects on male genitals, etc. have been reported in reproductive ability tests in rats and mice (NTP TR 33223, Dunnick 1984). The dominant lethal action is observed also in germ-cell mutagenicity (Dunnick 1984).

The available experimental test data are reliable and suitable for classification purposes under Regulation 1272/2008 in regard to fertility. As a result the substance is considered to be classified in Category 2 for reproductive toxicity under Regulation (EC) No. 1272/2008.
