In accordance to REACH Regulation (EC) 1907/2006 only the information concerning biodegradation is mandatory for a registration of a chemical at a tonnage band of 1 - 10 tons/year:

Biodegradadation

Regarding biodegradation of (benzylamine)trifluoroboron only data are available concerning water as compartment, conducted according to EU Method C.4-B (Determination of the "Ready" Biodegradability - Modified OECD Screening Test). In this study a degradation of 96 % was determined after 28 days test duration. Based on this study result, it can be concluded that the substance is "readily biodegradable".
