Inventar tvari u skladu s Prilogom III.

ECHA je sastavila inventar tvari koje vjerojatno ispunjavaju kriterije iz Priloga III. Uredbi REACH. Njegova je svrha pomoći podnositeljima registracije da utvrde moraju li ispuniti smanjene zahtjeve za dostavu minimalnih informacija ili dostaviti potpuni skup informacija iz Priloga VII.

Inventar je sastavljen uz pomoć javno dostupnih baza eksperimentalnih podataka i na temelju rezultata dobivenih primjenom modela (Q)SAR. Naznake opasnih toksikoloških ili ekotoksikoloških svojstava kao i informacije o primjenama i ostale dostupne relevantne informacije moraju se usporediti s kriterijima iz Priloga III.

Činjenica da neka tvar nije na tom popisu ne mora značiti da nisu ispunjeni kriteriji iz Priloga III. Slično tomu, ako je neka tvar uvrštena u inventar, podnositelj registracije ipak može iskoristiti mogućnost dostavljanja informacija u smanjenom obujmu ako za to postoji opravdanje.

Napominjemo da popis nije alat za razvrstavanje, nego samo ukazuje na razloge za zabrinutost. Primjerice, činjenica da je tvar naznačena kao „potencijalni mutagen" ne znači da ECHA smatra kako je ta tvar razvrstana kao mutagen. Svi bi se dokazi trebali uzeti u obzir prije nego što se donese odluka o razvrstavanju.
