Administrative data
First-aid measures
First aid - Skin contact: Rinse immediately with plenty of water, for at least 15 minutes. Remove affected clothing and wash all exposed skin area with mild soap and water, followed by water rinse. Obtain medical attention if ill effect or irritation develops.
First aid - Eye contact: Ensure prompt removal from eyes. Rinse immediately with plenty of water, for at least 15 minutes. Obtain medical attention if pain, blinking, tears or redness persist.
First aid - Ingestion: DO NOT INDUCE VOMITING. Rinse mouth. If swallowed, give 1 pint of water if victim completely conscious/alert. Obtain medical attention.
Emergency medical treatment: Symptomatic treatment.
Fire-fighting measures
Not to be used extinguishing media: Avoid high pressure media which could cause the formation of a potentially explosible dust-air mixture.
Special exposure hazards: On exposure to high temperature, may decompose, releasing toxic gases. (CO, CO2, NOx,SOx)
Flammable class: Not flammable. May form flammable dust-air mixture.
Surrounding fires: Apply water spray or fog to cool nearby equipment. Use water spray or fog for cooling exposed containers.
Protection against fire: Use self-contained breathing apparatus (cfr. EN 137) and standard firefighting gear (cfr. EN 469) when in close proximity to fire. Avoid (reject) fire-fighting water to enter environment.
Special procedures: Exercise caution when fighting any chemical fire.
Accidental release measures
Technical measures: Avoid dispersion as a dust cloud. Eliminate every possible source of ignition.
Environmental precautions: Prevent entry to sewers and public waters.
After spillage and/or leakage: Sweep or shovel spills into appropriate container for disposal. Use appropriate container to avoid environmental contamination.
Handling and storage
Precautions in handling and storage: Avoid all unnecessary exposure. May form flammable dust-air mixture. Eliminate every possible source of ignition.
Prevention: Avoid dispersion as a dust cloud.
Technical protective measures: Proper grounding procedures to avoid static electricity should be followed.
Handling: Handle the product in closed equipment and if possible under an inert atmosphere. Sufficient local or general ventilation. Explosion proof electrical equipment . Earth the equipment and take enough time to remove the electrostatic charges. Do not use compressed air to handle the product. Do not breathe dust. Ensure prompt removal from eyes, skin and clothing. Keep away from food, drink and animal feeding stuffs. Wear suitable protective clothing.
Storage: May be stored at ambient temperature. Protect from high temperature. Protect from low temperatures. Store in a dry and dark area. Keep container closed when not in use. Eliminate every possible source of ignition. Keep away from food, drink and animal feeding stuffs.
Storage away from: Moisture. Heat sources.

Skin protection: Wear a coverall type 5, specific for manipulation of solids (cfr. ISO 13982-1).
Eye protection: See respiratory protection.
Hand protection: Wear suitable gloves in latex (Category 3, Class 3) resistant to chemical penetration (cfr. EN 374).
Ingestion: When using, do not eat, drink or smoke.
Stability and reactivity
Stability: Stable under normal conditions of temperature and pressure.
Possibility of hazardous reactions: None known.
Conditions to avoid: Eliminate every possible source of ignition. Direct sunlight. Heat. Open flame. Sparks. Moisture.
Incompatible materials: None known.
Hazardous decomposition products: In case of fire generation of COx, NOx,SOx
