Additional information

The substance is negative in bacteria reverse mutation assay (Ames assay, OECD 471). The substance is negative in a chromosome aberration assay (OECD 473). The substance is negative in an in vitro mammalian cell micronucleus test (OECD 487).

Short description of key information:
The substance was not mutagenic to bacteria nor did it cause chromosome breakage or micronuclei in in vitro cell assays.

Endpoint Conclusion: No adverse effect observed (negative)

Justification for classification or non-classification

Based on actual testing in Ames assay and a chromosome aberrations assay the substance is considered to be nonmutagenic.
