Endpoint:
adsorption / desorption: screening
Data waiving:
study scientifically not necessary / other information available
Justification for data waiving:
the study does not need to be conducted because the substance has a low octanol water partition coefficient and the adsorption potential of this substance is related to this parameter

Description of key information

In accordance with Annex VIII column 2 of the Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006 REACH the test on adsorption / desorption does not need to be performed if the substance has a low octanol water partition coefficient. The partition coefficient of the test item was determined to be 2.3 (refer to IUCLID Section 4.7 'Partition coefficient'), therefore, no test was performed. The test item is considered to have low bioaccumulation potential.
