Results with reference substance (positive control):
The 24h-EC50 of potassium dichromate was tested in a current reference test. The value was determined as 1.3 mg/L, lying within the demanded range of 0.6 - 1.7 mg/L.
Reported statistics and error estimates:
All validity critera were met; For the estimation of the EC50 of the reference item, the fit showed sufficient statistical correspondence of the data with the dose-responsa equation

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Validity criteria fulfilled:
yes
Conclusions:
In accordance the guideline OECD 202, the following results could be determined for 1574 ACIDE :
48h and 24h NOEC = 100 mg/L
24h and 48h EC50i > 100 mg/L
Executive summary:

The experiment was performed using three concentrations ranging from 1 to 100 mg/L. Twenty daphnia were exposed to the test ite for 48 hours in a static test system. After 24 and 48 hours, the immobilised daphnia were counted.

The concentrations showed no toxicity. None of the animals were immobilised in the control.

The 24h-EC50 of potassium dichromate was tested in a current reference test. The value was determined as 1.3 mg/L, lying within the demanded range of 0.6 - 1.7 mg/L.

The following results could be determined for the 1574 ACIDE :

24 and 48h NOEC = 100mg/L

24 and 48h ECi50 > 100 mg/L

= 1 - 10 mg/L
