No value for the boiling temperature could be determined experimentally. However, using an adaptation of the Stein and Brown method, MPBPWIN version 1.41, © 2000 U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, the boiling temperature was calculated to be 816 K.
Small undulations were present from approximately 330°C (603 K). These undulations are possibly due to some decomposition and/or boiling of the test material. Upon opening the crucibles, a brown stain-like residue was evident, which is indicative of decomposition/ volatilisation. It was not possible to perform a visual assessment on the test material as the methods used are restricted to 360°C. The thermal events observed in the thermograrns occur after this temperature; therefore no further useful information would be obtained.

A calculated value of boiling temperature gave a result of 816 K. - Executive summary:
In a general physico-chemical properties study (0656/0338), the test material was determined to have a boiling temperature of greater than 673 ± 0.5 K based on the DSC method, Method A2 of Commission Directive 92/69/EEC. A calculated value of boiling temperature gave a result of 816 K.
