Applicant's summary and conclusion

Interpretation of results:
not sensitising
Remarks:
Migrated information
Conclusions:
No study has been identified and the skin sensitistaion potential has not been assessed since the substance is corrosive.
Executive summary:

No study was identified for skin sensitisation potential with 2,4-DCP. It may not be achievable since the substance is corrosive. In addition, the evaluation of the skin sensitisation potential may be unwanted due to the mandatory prevention of exposure. Therefore skin sensitisation potential has not been assessed. It is not considered to be prudent owing to the desire to avoid any contact with corrosive substances.

Chloracnea has been reported upon human exposure to a mixture of chlorophenols containing 2,4 -dichlorophenol.
