Results and discussion

Clinical signs:
At the begining - after injection - intense burning sensation for throat and stomach, vomiting, diarrhea, serious demages on the kidneys
Results of examinations:
Necroscopy was performed but in one case not reliable data were available. In the other case, an acute inflammation in the kidneys were observed; this observation was also confirmed after microscopic evaluation.
Effectivity of medical treatment:
no data
Outcome of incidence:
Death occured for all the two subjects.

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Conclusions:
After voluntary injection of 50-60 g of tartaric acid in two subjects, death occured for all the two people.
In one case, an acute inflammation in the kidneys were observed; this observation was also confirmed after microscopic evaluation.
