Additional information

The acute toxicity of glycine to fish was investigated in the key study (Hagiwara, 1998). The static test with killifish (Oryzias latipes) was carried out under non-GLP conditions similar to OECD guideline 203. The test did not include analytical monitoring of the test substance concentration. Effect concentrations exceeded the highest test concentration of 1000 mg/L, therefore the LC50 (96h) is stated as > 1000 mg/L.
