Description of key information
Three studies were available.
Additional information
In a first study 5% was smaller than 10 micron, and 50% smaller than 100 micron.
In a second study 4% of the particles was smaller than 10 micron, and 44% smaller than 100 micron.
In a third study 10% was smaller than 24 micron and 27% smaller than 100 micron.
Overall, it was concluded that only 27 -50% of the particles are considered inhalable, and that only a very small fraction viz. ca. 5% was smaller than 10 micron and therefore considered respirable.
