The substance is a liquid. For liquids the primary value for ease of ignition is the flash point conducted using Method A9 "Flash Point Method‟ of Council Regulation (EC) No 440/2008. The result of the Flash Point test is used to allocate a liquid substance into the appropriate flammability class.
Justification for classification or non-classification
The flash point of the test item was determined to be 145 ± 2 °C, according to Method A9 of Commission Regulation (EC) No 440/2008 of 30 May 2008. Therefore, the test item does not need classifying as a flammable liquid according to the criteria described in Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008.
