Additional information

The test material was found to be readily biodegradable under the conditions of the test which was conducted in accordance with "Order Prescribing the Items of the Test Relating to the New Chemical Substances" based on the "Law Concerning the Examination and Regulation of Manufacture, etc., of Chemical Substances (1973, Law No.117, Japan)”; specifically, Section 7-1 "Method for Testing the Biodegradability Of Chemical Substances by Microorganisms".

The study was non-GLP and conducted to a non-standard test method. However the reporting is adequate and result is conclusive so it considered acceptable as a standalone study. The study was assigned a reliability score of 2 according to the principles for assessing data quality set out in Klimisch (1997) and is considered suitable for assessment as an accurate reflection of the test material.
