Administrative data
First-aid measures
- Inhalation : DO NOT DELAY. Remove victim to fresh air. If not breathing, give artificial respiration. If breathing is difficult, give oxygen. If rapid recovery does not occur, obtain emergency medical attention.
- Skin contact : DO NOT DELAY. Remove affected clothing and wash all exposed skin area with mild soap and water. Seek medical attention immediately.
- Eye contact : DO NOT DELAY. Immediately flush eyes thoroughly with water for at least 15 minutes. Ensure adequate flushing of eyes by separating eyelids with the fingers. Contact ophthalmologist immediately.
- Ingestion : DO NOT DELAY. Do not induce vomiting. Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. Obtain emergency medical attention.
Prevention : If you feel unwell, seek medical advice (show the label where possible).
Note to physician : Treat symptomatically.
Fire-fighting measures
Flammable class : Not classified as flammable but will burn.
Hazardous combustion products : Carbon monoxide. Carbon dioxide.
Prevention : No naked lights. No smoking.
Extinguishing media : Powder. Sand. Carbon dioxide. Water spray. Foam. Do not use a heavy water stream.
Surrounding fires : Use water spray or fog for cooling exposed containers.
Protection against fire : Do not enter fire area without proper protective equipment, including respiratory protection. Exercise caution when fighting any chemical fire.
Specific hazards : May form flammable/explosive vapour-air mixture.
Special procedures : Avoid (reject) fire-fighting water to enter environment.
Accidental release measures
Personal precautions : Equip cleanup crew with proper protection.
Technical measures : Remove ignition sources.
Environmental precautions : Contain any spills with dikes or absorbents to prevent migration and entry into sewers or streams. Notify authorities if product enters sewers or public waters.
Clean up methods : Ventilate area. Do not use water for cleaning. Soak up spills with inert solids, such as clay or diatomaceous earth as soon as possible. Collect spills and put it into appropriated container. Scrub contaminated surfaces with detergent solution. Recover the cleaning or contacted water for later disposal.
Handling and storage
General : Avoid contact with skin, eyes and clothing. Do not breathe vapours. No naked lights. No smoking.
Precautions in handling and storage : In use, may form flammable vapour-air mixture.
Technical protective measures : Proper grounding procedures to avoid static electricity should be followed.
Storage : Keep in a bunded area. Keep only in the original container in a cool, well ventilated place. Keep container closed when not in use. Keep away from food, drink and animal feeding stuffs.
Storage - away from : Heat sources. Oxidizing agent. Strong acids. Strong bases. Direct sunlight.
Handling : Wash hands and other exposed areas with mild soap and water before eat, drink or smoke and when leaving work.
Packing : Store in tightly closed, leak-proof containers of carbon steel or stainless steel.

Exposure controls / personal protection
- Personal protection : Avoid all unnecessary exposure.
- Respiratory protection : If risk of inhalation wear: half mask respirator with organic vapour cartridge and built-in particulate filter (gas only).
- Hand protection : Use neoprene gloves.
- Skin protection : Impervious protective suit with gloves, boots, and full head and face protection must be worn.
- Eye protection : Face shield with forehead protection.
- Ingestion : When using, do not eat, drink or smoke.
Hygiene measures : Wash hands and other exposed areas with mild soap and water before eat, drink or smoke and when leaving work. Wash clothing frequently.
Technical protective measures : Provide local exhaust or general room ventilation.
Exposure controls of environment : In accordance with local and national regulations.
Stability and reactivity
Stability and reactivity : Stable under normal conditions.
Hazardous decomposition products : May release flammable gases.
Hazardous properties : May form flammable/explosive vapour-air mixture.
Materials to avoid : Oxidizing agent. Strong acids. Strong bases.
Conditions to avoid : Open flame. Direct sunlight. Overheating. Sources of ignition.
Disposal considerations
General : Dispose in a safe manner in accordance with local/national regulations.
Disposal method : Recover or recycle. If not possible burn in an approved incinerator.
Contaminated packaging : Drain container thoroughly. After draining, vent in a safe place away from sparks and fire. Rinse three times with suitable solvent. Recover the cleaning water for later disposal. Empty containers should be taken to local recyclers for disposal.
