In accordance with column 2 of REACH Annex VII (section 7.7), determination of the water solubility is not needed since B-TTEGME is hydrolytically instable.
QSAR calculations for B-TEGME with is the major constituent of B-TTEGME result in a water solubility of 1.000.000 mg/L. Even if the reliability and relevance of the QSAR calculation due to the quick hydrolyses must be considered with care, it is evident, that B-TEGME is very soluble in water. Due to the very similar structures of the further moieties of B-TTEGME it can be assumed that this value holds also for B-TTEGME.
For the risk assessment, a water solubility of 1.000.000 mg/L will be used.
