Description of key information

Water Solubility: 6.07 mg/l (high purity water); 7.91 mg/l (reconstituted Daphnia medium) at 20 ± 0.5 °C, EU Method A.6, Harlan Laboratories Ltd. 2013

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

The water solubility of the substance was determined using the flask method according to EU Method A.6 and OECD Method 105. The water solubility was determined in two media: purified water and reconstituted Daphnia medium. The mean water solubility of the substance was determined to be 6.07 mg/l of solution at 20.0 ±0.5 °C. The mean solubility in reconstituted Daphnia medium was determined to be 7.91 mg/l of solution at 20.0 ±0.5 °C. As the test item’s saturation concentration in reconstituted Daphnia medium was determined to be slightly higher than its saturation concentration in high purity water.
