Temp.:
20 °C
pH:
> 5.54 - <= 6.85
Water solubility:
0.72 mg/L
Temp.:
9 °C
pH:
> 6.01 - <= 7.2
Water solubility:
1.86 mg/L
Temp.:
31 °C
pH:
> 6.42 - <= 7.27
Details on results:
Determinations were also made at 9°C and at 31 °C and a temperature dependence of >3% per °C was found.
The test substance was found not to ionise over the pH range 3.6 to 8.0. However, at high pH, base hydrolysis was thought to occur.
Significant decomposition of the test substance at the test temperature of 31°C was found. The acid, was detected and the ratio of acid and test item was found to be ca. 1:4.

Preliminary Test (A.6.1.6.2)

The solubility of the test item in water at 21 °C was found to be less than

10-2 g/L. Consequently, the column method for the solubility test was selected.
