Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

The 48h-EC50 was > maximum solubility of the substance in test medium.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

The substance was tested for acute toxicity to daphnia magna according to OECD 202 and in compliance with GLP. The daphnids were exposed to a limit nominal concentration of 100 mg/L, a dispersion of undissolved test substance particles. Actual exposure concentrations of 16 mg/L at the start and 1.44 mg/L at the end were measured by HPLC. These measured concentrations were considerably higher than the maximum solubility of each of the components of KY-RB in water, which makes the sampling and the analytical results doubtful. Given the fact, however, that no effects were observed throughout the test with such an oversaturation, it is possible to come to a qualitative conclusion: the 48h-EC50 was > maximum solubility of the substance in medium. Therefore, a reliability 2 was given.
