First-aid measures

Emergency measure - Inhalation: Remove patient to fresh air. Symptomatic treatment.

Emergency measure - Eyes: Rinse with water for at least 15 minutes. If irritation

develops seek medical advice.

Emergency measure - Skin: Wash with soap and water. If irritation develops seek

medical attention.

Emergency measure - Ingestion: Seek medical advice.

Fire-fighting measures

Recommended extinguishing agent: Water spray, alcohol foam, carbon dioxide or dry powder may

be used.

Product arising from burning: Products of combustion may contain oxides of carbon together

with some soot.

Protective equipment: A self-contained breathing apparatus should be worn.

Accidental release measures

Emergency measures in case of spillage: Isolate spillage and ventilate the area. Protective

equipment should be worn. Collect spillage or use a suitable

inert material if necessary. Transfer to containers and

dispose of by incineration in accordance with local

regulations. Do not allow spill to enter sewers and

waterways.

Handling and storage

Handling: Ensure adequate ventilation. Wear protective clothing,

boots, nitrile or neoprene gloves and safety goggles. A full

vapour and dust/mist cartridge should be used if the

exposure limit is exceeded. For poorly ventilated area a

self contained breathing apparatus should be used.

Storage: Store in tightly closed containers.
